Advantages and Disadvantages of Video Conferencing.

At Clyde Solutions, we are open and honest. Maybe it’s because we are Glaswegian but we like to tell it how it is!

Many of you have been wondering just how effective Video Conferencing is and if it is worth shelling out for. We think the answer is YES! Especially if your business span across multiple sites or even if you are in Aberdeen or Edinburgh with a head office in Glasgow, instead of the weekly sales meeting eating into your weekend because you’re stuck on the M74 in traffic it can be done from your iPad with everyone in their respective offices.

But we are procrastinating!  Here it is, 4 main advantages and disadvantages of Video Conferencing.

1.It’s cost effective
2.Fast and efficient (No waiting needed)
3.You can communicate with others across the globe
4.Employees/Colleagues can work from home

1.You need internet connection or 3G/4G
2.The video conferencing might not be understandable/clear depending on internet or 3G/4G connection
3.Training is required as people might not know how to use the equipment and software
4.Need to invest and test it out to see if it works for your business

So there you have it! We could talk about our Radvision Video Conferencing Solution all day, if you’d like more information please do not hesitate to get in touch. Tweet us @clydesolutions email hello@clydesolutions or call 0141 353 4350
